“When I was a girl everyone knew how to do something” says Deanna Comellini, the company’s designer and art director “Now it now longer seems necessary. We have lost our ability to do things, like weaving for example, and we don’t remember exactly when, but it is something that is not without consequences.”

There are still people who live in symbiosis with nature.
A community of 50 women make their living by gathering wild hemp and spinning and weaving it by hand. The results are genuine textile gems that recreate the rhythms and nuances of nature.
