Inspired by geometries that are open to interpretation, Ultranative is a series of eclectic rugs in pure, high-quality wool with undefined boundaries.

In 2018, G.T.DESIGN’s Founder and Creative Director Deanna Comellini set free from the traditional rectangular shape of the loom to create the Native format, a fluid rug silhouette inspired by organic forms found in the natural world that brings a sense of warmth and humanity to the home.

The original Native rug shape, a hybrid between an amorphous circle and a deformed rectangle, was designed after years of research and experimentation for the Ultranative collection to highlight the rugs’ archaic and primordial patterns. The cutting-edge rugs feature eidetic figures and brush stroke-like accents of color. Just like true works of art, they are sure to become the centerpiece of any environment.
