Ca’ Giustinian, the historic mansion that houses the headquarters of La Biennale di Venezia underwent major renovations between 2008 and 2010.

Neutral colors and natural materials were chosen to furnish the interiors of the 15th-century palace, alongside eclectic furnishings from the world of contemporary design.

To enhance the architectural elements of the lounge and office areas, Deanna Comellini worked on the concepts of contrast and matter, juxtaposing the iconic Coconutrug rug – with a raw and modern look – to the venetian stuccos and marble grits, symbols of classic elegance and Italianness.
