Discover how Deanna Comellini approches Villa Necchi Campiglio through the discipline of design

Villa Necchi Campiglio is an architectural gem in the heart of Milan. Built in the 1930s by the architect Piero Portaluppi, the residence seemingly combines architectural styles of different eras and features an eclectic selection of art masterpieces. Moreover, the mansion includes inestimable architectonic details of paramount beauty, still unknown to many.

As a true testimony of the Italian cultural heritage through the years, the villa was chosen by G.T.DESIGN to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Kama rug during the recent Fuorisalone. Kama original models and an unreleased capsule collection were displayed in the interiors of the mansion, reinterpreting the beauty of the unique design of each space from a contemporary perspective.

Watch as G.T.DESIGN’s Founder and Creative Director Deanna Comellini guides you through this unique mansion, offering an insight into her creative process of designing the Kama rug.
